A number of organizations provide services to meet the needs of underprivileged or disadvantaged individuals and families. Still, from time to time, an individual or family faces a need not within the scope of services of these organizations or that cannot be met when needed: a repair to a car needed for work; uniforms for work or school; a replacement of a small appliance to prepare hot food; work-boots or outdoor gear to get or keep a job. These and others like them land in the gaps and are the needs we address. Delaware Valley Fairness Project provides immediate assistance to individuals and families referred to us by any school, church, hospital or bona fide nonprofit or governmental agency. Needs are filled on a first come-first served basis until funds for these services are depleted.
